Marketing, Admin & Audio/Video Production

We are looking for one or more individuals with skills or interest in these areas: e-commerce marketing, SEO, Amazon advertising, public relations, videography, video editing; audio recording/podcasts, general computer skills, and shipping.

What you don’t know, we will help you learn.

We work together flexibly, helping each other to succeed, doing what needs to be done. Even if you have one main task or orientation, you will have opportunities to do many things and to learn more.

Potential DP team members should:

Be interested in personal growth through work and daily activity

Be reliable and self-motivated

Be flexible and cooperative

This is a full-time residential volunteer opportunity with a minimum 6 month commitment, although many of our volunteers stay for a year or more. DP volunteers live in shared housing with the volunteers of Yeshe De Text Preservation Project and the retreat center, and join them in maintaining and beautifying Ratna Ling once a week in Community Work activities, and in being assigned kitchen cleanup shifts.

We have an immediate need for help in our large organic vegetable garden. Our head gardener needs extra hands to keep the produce flowing from the farm to the table in our retreat center! The unique part of this work is that during retreats, primarily on weekends, the garden crew often helps the lodge retreat support team with active retreat tasks, like setting up the buffet for  meals, cleaning up after breakfast, and responding to requests from guests. Some garden/farm experience is preferred.

Put your creativity, computer skills and personable manner to work in caring for retreat guests. Not just an office job-enjoy the fresh air and get exercise while working in the gardens and on other projects. At the end of the week, prepare for the retreat. During retreats (usually on weekends), the garden crew often helps with active retreat tasks.

Whether in the office or in the garden, flexible, hard working individuals who work well on their own or with others in a team will thrive in these volunteer opportunities.
